Akin: The Genesis

Akin had always hated his life, his country, the politicians, ignorant masses. He just wished he could wave a wand and get everything under control, but he knew it was much more complicated than that.
This morning had been the worse of it, his boss had promoted him promoted him to a job much more demanding than the previous one and with a lesser than the previous one, who does that.
There was also the issue of Fike, his not so sensitive girlfriend pressuring him into marriage, he just isn't ready, why couldn't she understand that?
And now she is leaving him, at least that's all he could understand from the text she sent him. it was as if everyone was out to get him. He didn't even want to think of what his Mom would think of Him now. Fike was the Only good thing in his life as far as she was concerned and now Fike has left him.

A crowd was already beginning to gather behind him, and yea, they had their phones out. Here he was trying to die and there they were trying to get it all on camera.(gods they are annoying). just when he decided that he had had enough and was about to climb back and head home, probably have a cold drink or two, "Ogbeni" startled by the force behind the word, he lost his footing.
Flapping his arms like a flightless bird didn't in any way help his balance. Falling to his death didn't feel that bad,it actually felt good for a second, with the wind in his face, an exhilarating feeling spreading through his heart. they say as you are about to die, your life flashes before you, you see your regrets, loved ones, etc.
Oddly, this was not the case with Akin, the only thing on his mind as he fell to his death was Brymo's " Everyone gets to die". He was going to die and now he goes insane? well good riddance. Just as he was about to hit the surface of the water, panic seeped into his veins, he was too young to ..........
